Co-Founder, Nova Mundi | Impact Officer | AI in Accounting | European Security and Strategy Affairs

Jovan is MD and co-founder of Nova Mundi, a funded AI startup developing adaptive AI agents to automate audit and accounting workflows. Nova Mundi’s work has also been profiled in Forbes Austria. Originally from Serbia and based in Austria for over 12 years, he combines an academic background in law with national certification in investment advisory.

His career began in finance and investment, including leading the Salzburg branch of ERGO and advising on real-estate and private-equity investments at Astoria Real Estate and Nordlys Wealth, before moving into assurance, where he worked on audits involving some of Austria’s largest industrial firms, including the country’s leading lifting-solutions company. He is also a World Economic Forum Agenda Contributor and author of Forum Stories on AI, financial integrity, and the future of administrative work.

Jovan is former Curator and current Impact Officer of the Global Shapers Salzburg Hub. Beyond entrepreneurship, he is active in European strategic affairs and has contributed to discussions within the Europe Summit and Munich Security Conference ecosystem, including speaking on the panel “European Security Architecture,” as well as in broader political and policy forums on security, governance, and European competitiveness.
