Shaping a Multiconceptual World
Shifting geopolitical sands: competition, cooperation or conflict?
The COVID-19 crisis struck an unsettled world in which competitive instincts were overtaking cooperative mindsets. As the crisis risks accelerating this trend, the Global Future Council on Geopolitics will identify practical mechanisms for strengthening global collaboration. The council will explore evolving global power dynamics and identify where shared economic, security, climate and technological interests offer opportunities for collaboration. Through deliberation of four working groups, the council will deliver analysis for the Forum’s digital properties and summits and offer intellectual support to the Forum’s work promoting global cooperation and revitalizing the multilateral system.
