Tomoki Matsuno is a Kenneth I. Juster Fellow at the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard University. His academic interests include the strategic role of hydrogen and LNG policies in advancing energy security, industrial transformation, and emissions reduction within the global energy transition. He also serves as Head of Research for North America at the Institute for Sustainable Energy Policies (ISEP).
In 2022, he founded the Japan Policy Network at Harvard, a student-led policy think tank that collaborates with government agencies and institutional partners to develop evidence-based solutions to pressing economic and societal challenges. Past collaborators include the City of Tsukuba and Japan’s Digital Agency.
