Dr. Tom Moerenhout is a political economist specialized in critical minerals, energy supply chains, and sustainable development. He is a Professor at Columbia University and advises institutions including the World Bank and OECD. He holds a PhD from the Geneva Graduate Institute in Geneva and master's degrees from both the Geneva Graduate Institute and KU Leuven. He serves on several expert panels and has worked with governments in over 20 countries, including the White House and European Commission. He is also a guest Professor at the Geneva Graduate Institute, Sciences Po Paris, and NYU Stern Business School.
