I am the co-founder of BluAct Technologies GmBH, currently I am working as the CEO and the CTO of the Company.BluAct Technologies utilizes state-of-the-art nanotechnology to produce protein-based membranes. These membranes are expected to become a revolutionary method for the purification of water from heavy metals, radioactive materials, bacteria, and organic pollutants. The Products are useful in both industrial waste water treatment and drinking water treatment.
I have been working at the ETH Zurich since 2009, initially as postdoc and then as the senior scientist. I have gained a quite good experience in the field of nanomaterial research, protein engineering and water purification. I hold bachelor degree in chemical engineering and Ph.D. degree in physical chemistry from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.
