Shankar Keshav Prasad

Global Shaper, Gurugram Hub

Shankar is a Principal at Gartner's frontier finance team where he interviews Fortune 500 CFOs, frontier labs and AI-native start-ups to investigate what finance would look like in 2030. His research notes and case-studies has been featured in news outlets like Fortune, Wall Street Journal, Inc., CFO Dive, Automation Today and more.

Shankar is also the Founder of Compounded Action Foundation, a section-8 registered non-profit born out of the Global Shapers Community (Gurugram Hub), where he is working towards improving financial literacy in underserved communities in India through storytelling, video games and expression-based activities.

Beyond this, Shankar is an angel investor and part of Hustle Fund's Angel Squad and Laconia Capital's Venture Coop and occasionally invests in early-stage startups that work in financial inclusion.

He has also worked in a development impact consulting firm where he helped non-profit organizations measure their impact using technology as an enabler.

He holds an undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering and a postgraduate diploma in Liberal Studies from the Young India Fellowship at Ashoka University.
