Richard Florida is Visiting Distinguished University Professor at Vanderbilt University, University Professor at the University of Toronto, Distinguished Fellow of the Kresge Foundation, and academic advisor to the BCG Institute. He is founder of the Creative Class Group and co-founder of CityLab, now Bloomberg CityLab. He is the author of the bestselling books The Rise of the Creative Class and The New Urban Crisis. His forthcoming book, The Way We Live Next, is due out from HarperBusiness in spring 2027.
