Rayan Alamoudi

Curator, Jeddah Hub

Rayan is a data and AI leader with nearly 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Data Science across aviation, fintech, e-commerce, and loyalty industries. He currently serves as a Business Intelligence Analyst at flyadeal, Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier under the SAUDIA Group, where he has spearheaded and led strategic projects around customer loyalty, budget control, next booking predictions, and initiatives to enhance the Hajj and Umrah season in Jeddah.

He is also the co-founder of The Golden Elephant, a recent start-up and part-time venture focused on people analytics, pioneering secure, locally hosted AI solutions that empower organizations to make smarter HR decisions in sensitive environments.

Passionate about the intersection of AI, Machine Learning, and Quantum Computing, Rayan has pursued extensive training through IBM’s Qiskit platform and global programs since 2018, aiming to bridge cutting-edge technologies with practical business applications in Saudi Arabia.

Rayan’s civic leadership is equally defining. Since joining the Global Shapers Community in 2022, he has held progressive leadership roles such as the Impact Officer (23/24), Vice Curator (24/25), and currently Curator of Jeddah Hub (25/26). His impact includes leading the flagship Nasmat Alamal (Ramadan) project for three years, delivering over 100,000 Iftar meals and Eid gifts to hospitalized children, with 100+ volunteers reaching 10,000+ beneficiaries.

He also co-led Serene, Jeddah’s youth-led mental health initiative, curating creative awareness experiences and peer support groups that benefited 300+ people. As part of SHAPEATHON, he spearheaded the website, registration, and volunteer operations, empowering 60+ students in collaboration with 7 organizations. More recently, he led the localization and Gulf-region rollout of the “Mariam and the Secrets of Saving” children’s financial literacy book, adapting it for Saudi culture and readership.

Globally, Rayan is a familiar presence at World Economic Forum platforms. He has represented Jeddah Hub in five SHAPE events: APAC (Bangkok, 2023), Europe & Eurasia (Bilbao, 2023; Brussels, 2025), Africa (Addis Ababa, 2024), and MENA (Khobar, 2025). While building connections with Shapers across cities including New York, London, Istanbul, Barcelona, Muscat, Dubai, Amman and more. He also attended the Global Shapers Annual Summit 2025 in Geneva, where he participated in the “Designing for Impact: Your Living Legacy” workshop, focused on creating sustainable, scalable community projects and building systems for continuity beyond leadership terms.
