Rachel Gould

Rachel Gould is an environmental professional passionate about addressing climate change and reversing nature loss through capital investments. She has experience ranging across all aspects of the environmental field including sustainable investing, climate tech, consulting, corporate sustainability and non-profits.

Currently, Rachel works as an investment professional at a climate investment firm that provides capital to leading companies across all climate-related asset classes. Most recently, she worked on the business and investment plan for the Clean Energy and Sustainability Accelerator, the first US national green bank; supported investment origination and execution for Climate Real Impact Solutions, a special purpose acquisition company (SPAC); and served as an EDF Climate Corps Fellow, developing emissions reduction strategies for Williams-Sonoma.

Prior, Rachel examined the role of federal financial regulators in addressing systemic climate risk and assessed climate disclosure quality among insurers for Ceres Accelerator for Sustainable Capital Markets. She also managed the corporate engagement programme for the Science Based Targets Network, supporting the development of the guidance for science-based targets for nature.

Rachel holds a Master of Environmental Management from the Yale School of the Environment and a BA & BS in environmental science and economics from McGill University.
