Nick is an investor and operator focused on using data and technology to advance society. He founded Rohati Capital, a global coinvestment vehicle, in 2024 with former Amazon colleagues. Rohati means "to ascend" in Sanskrit, reflecting the firm's mission to deliver strong investment results while unlocking human potential around the world.
Previously, Nick held senior leadership roles building and scaling fintech, lending, and marketplace businesses. He led Visa's North American credit card business, launched and scaled Amazon Lending, Amazon's embedded lending arm into a $100M+ profit business globally, ran vehicle supply and financing for Uber worldwide, and served as President and CEO of CircleUp (USV, Canaan, Rose Park, GV).
He is an active investor and advisor, with board service at Rapido (India working-class mobility), PayJoy (global subprime consumer finance), Shipper (Indonesia marketplace logistics), and the School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University, his alma mater. Additional investments include AltBank (Brazil subprime credit) and Baobab (African small business banking). He also serves on the International Selection Committee of Endeavor.
Nick is a member of the Young Global Leaders at the World Economic Forum and a Finance Leaders Fellow at the Aspen Institute. He holds degrees from Georgetown and Wharton and is based in Northern California.
