Resilience Finance and Engagement Lead, North America, Resilient Cities Network (RCN)

Nathaniel Echeverria, AICP, is an urban planner with expertise in economic development, land-use planning, and place-based management. He currently serves as Lead, Engagement and Finance for the Resilience Cities Network (RCN) based in New York. He has worked for local governments and business improvement districts in California, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware. Prior to RCN, he was Executive Director of the Downtown Camden Business Improvement District in Camden, NJ and before that, the Economic Development Director for the Borough of Kennett Square in Pennsylvania. He also teaches part-time in the graduate program for city and regional planning at the University of Pennsylvania Weitzman School of Design. His membership in professional associations include the American Planning Association, The Congress for the New Urbanism, and the Urban Land Institute. When not working, he enjoys playing basketball, working on historic masonry projects, and walking his dog Moose.
