Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang is Chair of the Board and Senior Advisor for BlackRock Switzerland, previously serving as CEO, member of the EMEA Executive Committee and Senior Advisor to BlackRock Sustainable Investing. She serves on the Investment Committee of British International Investment, the UK’s development finance institution. She currently serves and has served on boards of private and public companies and organisations in various industries. She is an investor and a recognized thought leader and published author on sustainable finance. She was named a Young Global Leader of the World Economic Forum and today serves on the board of the WEF’s Young Global Leaders Foundation.
Earlier positions included executive chair of a leading Swiss pension fund, CEO of a Zurich-based investment firm and multi-family office which she co-founded , in addition to senior positions in asset management and private equity at Commerzbank and Swiss Life, investment banker at Merrill Lynch and as a lawyer.
Dr. Mirjam Staub-Bisang holds a PhD in Law from the University of Zurich, an MBA from INSEAD and is a licensed attorney-at-law.
