Maya V. Gusarova is a Public Sector Specialist at the World Bank. Joining the Public Sector Institutional Reform unit in the Europe and Central Asia region in 2004, and based in the Russia country office, Gusarova has worked on a range of technical assistance, analytical and advisory activities for government agencies in Russia, Armenia, Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan and Moldova, dealing with government administrative reforms, public financial management, civil service pay and employment issues. She has been part of the core PEMPAL team, acting as a coordinator of the Budget Community of Practice resource team. Gusarova holds a Master Degree in International Affairs, Economic and Political Development, from Columbia University.
