Lara has been part of the mobile money team since early 2012, initially supporting mobile network operators as they developed mobile money services across the globe. Lara currently manages the programme’s activities in Asia as well as supporting the implementation of the global data strategy. Her career background is as a researcher, both in financial services and global market analysis, advising corporates on the cost of relocating to emerging and developed markets. Lara holds an MBA from INSEAD and earned her bachelor’s degree from Bryn Mawr College.
