Kevin Russell
Kevin Russell is a senior fellow at the McKinsey Global Institute (MGI), based in the Carolinas office. He has been with MGI for six years and leads research on topics including economic inclusion, the role of companies in achieving sustainable and inclusive growth, and the company dynamics of today’s fastest growing industries. He has previously led MGI work on inclusive growth in Latin America, GDP growth outperformers in Asia, and the impact of large companies on households and the economy. Prior to MGI he served McKinsey clients in Southeast Asia as a consultant, primarily in banking and utilities. Before joining McKinsey in 2015 he received a PhD in political science from Yale University and a Masters in public policy from Johns Hopkins University and worked in the public sector for five years.
