Jyotsna Sitling, a member of the Advisory Committee to SEBI on the Social Stock Exchange in India, is a former Indian Forest Service officer recognized nationally for her environmental, social and public service contributions. Widely known for her social innovations in public systems, she has assiduously worked to find sustainable solutions to diverse equity and environmental challenges through participatory institutions, policies and programs. Since 2012, Ms Sitling has actively promoted social entrepreneurship policies in India. She continues to work passionately at the intersection of market, equity and environment for creating social and environmental impact on the ground in her current role. Ms Sitling is the recipient of prestigious National Awards for her outstanding contribution to the socio-environmental cause of the nation.
