Research focuses on the use of large electronic health record and register data to understand the aetiology, treatment and prognosis of severe mental illness (schizophrenia and bipolar disorder). Working in collaboration with researchers at the Alan Turing Institute, University of Oxford, Karolinska Institute, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Vanderbilt University, and the University of Hong Kong to develop predictive and causal inference machine learning models to improve mental health outcomes.
