Jorge is a Medical Doctor and social entrepreneur. He founded BIVE (www.bive.co), a social business with the primary objective of facilitating access to fast, high quality and affordable healthcare services to middle and low income families in Colombia. Currently, Jorge is the executive director and entrepreneur at Bive. He also works a a young researcher with a research group in the field of Health promotion and disease prevention and as a general practicioner at a private health center. He studied Medicine at University of Caldas, Manizales, Colombia. Jorge is a World Economic Forum's Global Shaper, Manizales hub, Colombia.
