Jennifer Clawson is an independent advisor, speaker, and moderator working with health systems worldwide across governments, providers, payers, industry, and global organizations. A former Partner and Director at Boston Consulting Group, she led BCG’s global value‑based healthcare efforts and co‑authored The Patient Priority, which examines the urgent challenges facing global health systems and the need to put patient‑relevant outcomes at the center.
Jennifer helped establish ICHOM, the international nonprofit dedicated to standardized patient outcomes, in collaboration with BCG, Harvard Business School, and the Karolinska Institute. She also led the design and execution of the European Health Union Fellowship, strengthening capabilities across EU ministries and agencies on critical health policy topics.
She is a frequent speaker and workshop leader at global health conferences and has authored numerous articles on value‑based healthcare and health system transformation. Jennifer holds an AB from Harvard College and an MBA from Columbia University.
