He is in particulate known for his work on business wargaming, a dynamic simulation that helps leaders and organizations anticipate the future competitive dynamics in their industry. Further, he has worked on how foresight can support organizations in developing dynamic capabilities. He also developed the Robust Leadership framework, describing a leadership approach for a VUCA world.
In addition, he has tied design thinking and cultural products, such as science-fiction, to foresight.
