Houssam leads the World Economic Forum’s Partnering Against Corruption Initiative (PACI), the Forum’s global platform on business integrity and responsible governance. He works with a peer network of Chief Legal, Compliance, Governance and Integrity Officers, alongside senior leaders from government, civil society, academia and international organizations, to advance dialogue and collaboration on emerging governance challenges, corporate integrity and trust. He also manages the Global Future Council on Good Governance, a network of experts developing forward-looking approaches to governance amid technological, geopolitical and societal change.

Previously, Houssam worked at international organizations including the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, focusing on ethics and compliance. His experience includes developing and implementing integrity frameworks, due diligence, stakeholder engagement and supporting misconduct investigations.

He holds an MA in International Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies and a BA in Economics and Political Studies from the American University of Beirut.
