Empowering female entrepreneurs in the Middle East
Most science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) graduates in the Middle East are women and tapping into this valuable resource is a key focus for the region.
Hala bint Mohammed Jaber Al-Ansari is Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for Women, Bahrain. Before that she was Head of Media Affairs in the Office of Her Royal Highness the Wife of the King of Bahrain. Until 2000 she was Director of Employee Communications Department at Bahrain Telecommunications Company. She holds an MBA from Golden Gate University and Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Bahrain.
