Georgia is an ecologist and Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Interdisciplinary Conservation Science Research Group at RMIT University. Her recent research, supported by The Myer Foundation, investigated how different approaches to urban development and planning can result in benefits for biodiversity and people. She is currently working on a project that seeks to understand how communication and message framing influences community support for threatened species conservation as part of the National Environmental Science Programme's Threatened Species Recovery Hub.
