Gene Ma is the Head of China Research and Chief APAC Representative at the Institute of International Finance (IIF), a global association comprising over 450 financial institutions. Based in Singapore, he oversees IIF's offices in Singapore and Beijing, maintaining close relationships with Chinese policymakers and financial institutions. In his role, Gene advises global investors, senior executives, and policymakers on China's economic landscape. He also organizes roundtables, conferences, and investor tours for leading global financial institutions.
