Fatima-Zahra is a psychologist and foresight practitioner whose work examines how personal and collective narratives shape the way societies make decisions and imagine the future. Across the past decade, she has worked on leadership programmes, policy initiatives, and systems change efforts focused on systemic wellbeing, intergenerational responsibility, and long-term governance.
She currently serves as Commissioner on the Lancet-LSHTM Commission on the Emotional Determinants of Health and sits on Gladia's Distinguished Advisory Council. Previous roles include Co-Lead of the World Economic Forum’s Future50 Initiative, Co-Chair of the Expert Committee at Orygen Global, and Advisory Council Member of the Global Shapers Community. Earlier in her career, she co-founded a mental health social enterprise in Morocco and designed an emotional education curriculum now available across the country’s public school system.
A sought-after speaker, she has addressed audiences at the UK Parliament, the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Davos, and TEDx, among other national and international platforms.
In the space she makes between engagements, she sustains her own wellbeing through writing, tending to her houseplants, and protecting the slower, quieter parts of her life.
