Dirk Niepelt is Director of the Study Center Gerzensee and Professor at the University of Bern. He received his Ph.D. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and holds a licentiate and doctorate from the University of St. Gallen. His research interests include macroeconomics, international finance, political economy, and public finance.
