He also champions Microsoft’s engagement in the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), including through specialized policy forums, dedicated UN SDG initiatives, and co-authoring Microsoft’s annual report on the SDGs. Previously, Daniel worked for The Global Fund and the UNEP office in Geneva. He also worked as a Research Analyst at the World Economic Forum, focused on environmental sustainability initiatives. His publications and expert interviews on SDG-related themes have featured in The Financial Times, The Economist Group, The Brookings Institution, Business Insider, Huffington Post, Monocle, Harvard Africa Policy Journal, The Africa Report, and CNBC Africa—among others.
