
Craig Williams has a PhD in biomedical science, awarded for his studies of mosquito behaviour. Since that time he has conducted research on disease-transmitting insects. Prior to this Craig obtained a BSc(Hons) in zoology, and worked as a research officer studying frog biology. Craig also has a Grad Dip Ed, and worked for two years as a school teacher. He was a co-winner of the 2005 IgNobel prize in Biology for research on frog odour, and was the 2007 Young Tall Poppy Scientist of the Year for South Australia.
