Claudio Muruzabal is the President of SAP Latin America & Caribbean. As a technology industry leader and visionary of the impact of digital transformation, he inspires and leads a team of 5,000+ employees in the region, to enable businesses of all sizes as they innovate, compete and succeed with SAP’s platforms, applications, and business networks.

With over 25 years of experience heading large technology organizations, he joined SAP in August 2015. Prior to this date, Muruzabal was CEO of NEORIS for ten years, and evolved the company into a global management and IT consulting business that posted 20% annual growth. Previously, he was Vice President of Teradata in Latin America and the Caribbean under NCR, where he held various senior executive positions.

A strong advocate of education and an entrepreneurial mindset as a means to advance social wellbeing and economic growth, Claudio serves as Americas Co-Chair of nonprofit Junior Achievement. He is also a Board Member of the Council of the Americas, and a Board Member of the Latin American Program for the Woodrow Wilson International Center. He also is an active proponent and speaker on the expansion of digital innovation and entrepreneurship in Latin America.

Claudio Muruzabal holds a Global Executive MBA from The Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, and a double major in Business Administration and Accounting from the Catholic University of Argentina. In 2016, he was named one of the 100 Most Powerful Business People by Latin Trade Magazine and has been recognized with the HITEC 50 Award, as one of the top 50 most influential and notable Hispanic Professionals in IT Industry across LATAM and Spain. In 2019, he was recognized by the Council of the Americas organization with the “Technology Leader of the Year” Bravo Award. His office is located at the SAP headquarters for Latin America and the Caribbean in Miami, Florida.
