During 2004-2015 worked at the IMF; last position was Deputy Director at the Monetary and Capital Markets Department of the IMF, where she oversaw the work on financial sector regulation and supervision, and crisis prevention and management. Managed the Fund’s work on the global regulatory reform agenda and led the Financial Sector Assessment Programs, including for the United Kingdom (2011) and Spain (2012). Between August 2008 and February 2010, Dr. Pazarbasioglu was the mission chief for Ukraine. Prior to this position, her main focus was on banking restructuring and crisis management issues.
