Burke Norton is co-founder of Smith Point Capital, a venture capital firm redefining growth equity for the intelligent enterprise. Previously, Norton was Senior Managing Director and Co-Head of Perennial Investing at Vista Equity Partners, a leading global investment firm investing in software, data and technology-enabled organizations. Prior to Vista, Norton was Chief of Corporate Affairs and Chief Legal Officer at Salesforce and was a member of the company’s executive committee. Prior to joining Salesforce, Norton was executive vice president and a member of the office of the chairman at Expedia. Previously, Norton was a partner at Wilson Sonsini, where he practiced corporate and securities law, representing clients in the enterprise software, telecommunications, semiconductor, life sciences, entertainment, and e-commerce industries, with an emphasis on complex corporate transactions, as well as corporate governance, regulatory, and intellectual property matters.
