YAB Datuk Amar Haji Fadillah bin Haji Yusof is the Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and the Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA). He was appointed Deputy Prime Minister in December 2022 and has led PETRA since the ministry was established in December 2023.
As Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, he spearheads Malaysia’s strategic energy transition and water transformation agenda, driving policies and initiatives to strengthen energy security, accelerate renewable energy deployment, advance sustainable energy management, and enhance integrated water resources management. His leadership supports Malaysia’s low-carbon development pathway and clean energy ambitions while reinforcing the nation’s commitment to sustainable, resilient, and inclusive development of its energy and water sectors.
