Aazia Mickens-Dessaso is the founder of Momentum, addressing gender parity by building a scalable childcare resource for the next generation of working parents.
Ms. Mickens-Dessaso has been named a Foreign Languages and Area Studies Fellow by the U.S. Department of Education, one of five Emerging Global Entrepreneurs by President Obama, a delegate of the Global Entrepreneurship Summit, and is Curator Emeritus for the Norfolk (USA) Hub. She is very active in grassroots entrepreneurship and has been a participant and organizer for events such as Start! Peninsula, Tech. Co's "Hottest Startup in Southeast Virginia," and NASA Space Apps.
