Addressing Insurability: A Playbook for Investing in Place-Based Resilience explores how stakeholders can work together to manage physical risks and strengthen local resilience. It identifies four priority interventions: improving risk-decision data; developing financing mechanisms for resilience; establishing trusted metrics to recognize resilience in insurance and investment decisions; and capturing the wider benefits of resilience through stronger collaboration and governance.
Drawing on emerging examples from around the world, the playbook provides a practical framework for building coalitions, directing investment and strengthening the resilience and insurability of places.
