Since the pandemic began, initiatives such as volunteering and building strong communities has been a challenge. Individuals and organizations alike are trying to find alternative methods and creative solutions to volunteering and community building in settings where in-person interactions have been traditionally the form. In multiple instances, the constant change in pandemic restrictions and enforcements have also interfered with the implementation of ideas for these initiatives to occur smoothly.
The Ottawa Hub hosted two engaging episodes for Season 2 of the Ottawa Shapers Podcast to provide solutions to these problems by using successful examples and informing the audience of current and upcoming opportunities. The first one was on the topic, "How to Volunteer During COVID-19" and the second episode was "Building a Community During COVID-19".
