#HashtagLunchbag is a global movement dedicated to utilizing social media to bring awareness to and eliminate hunger in local communities.
The event focuses on groups of young people coming together to assemble lunch bags for underprivileged individuals and communities. The lunches are then distributed via various networks.
We hope you see the opportunity to engage and empower youth to make a positive change in their community. In Jamaica many youth are disconnected from the issues that plague our country and marginalized in efforts to create solutions, #hashtaglunchbag gives them the opportunity to take ownership and make something great happen.
