Former Assistant Professor, Hochschule für Musik Bern; then Head, Department of Pianoforte. Since 2003, Head, Department of Interpretation, and Professor of Piano, Hochschule für Musik, Musik Akademie Basel. Has performed at the: Biennale die Venezia; Festival de Rougemont; Gasteig in München; Bewandhaus in Leipzig; Festival de Besançon; Auditorio Manuel de Falla, Grenada. Has recorded for the SWR, ARD, bayerischer Rundfunk, Radio DRS and Radio Suisse Romande. Has performed with Chiara Banchini, Thomas Demenga, Peter Hörr, Hans Heinz Schneeberger, Thomas Müller, Christian Sutter, Kurt Widmer and Omar Zoboli. Recipient of numerous awards, including: Eduard Tschumi prize (1997).
