Dr. Sabahat S. Azim, the Founder and Managing Director of Glocal Healthcare Systems is a medical doctor, an ex Indian Administrative Service officer of 2000 batch and an entrepreneur. He served the Government in various positions like the Secretary to the then Hon'ble Chief Minister of Tripura., Director of IT, Director Vigilance, Jt. Secretary, Personnel & Training, Jt Secretary Cabinet & Confidential, District Magistrate, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Land Acquisition Collector, Camp Director for Shikaribari Rehabilitation Camp for Surrendered militants. With IAS training from LBS National Academy of Administration, Microfinance & SHG training from NABARD and Infrastructure Financing from IIM Ahmedabad, he successfully set up a pan India rural ICT Venture in the year 2007 before establishing Glocal Healthcare in the year 2010. Dr. Azim was invited by the UNESCO to ive a keynote address on e - Health at the WSIS Forum 2009, at the ITU Headquarters, Geneva, Switzerland. He has been awarded multiple times by various social & business associations. He sits on various industry association committees and social organizations.
Under Dr Azim’s stewardship, Glocal Healthcare has set up and is operating 11 integrated super- specialty hospitals in the states of Bihar, UP, Odisha & West Bengal. His recent innovation - Digital Dispensary (Healthcare in a box) offers end to end primary healthcare solution. His creation of Hellolyf, a Web access / Android Apps for patients & Doctors supported by HellolyfCX ( UV light / IoT based Sterilized non-contact screening chambers) has been highly appreciated as a big support to the recent Pandemic COVID 19 not only in India but in African countries as well.
