Shu Yinbiao is a leading Chinese energy expert and engineer, known for his work in power systems, smart grids, and renewable energy integration. He served as Chairman of State Grid Corporation of China and later China Huaneng Group, spearheading major initiatives in ultra-high voltage transmission and clean energy development. Shu was also President of the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) from 2020 to 2022. An academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, he has been a key figure in advancing energy innovation, grid modernization, and global energy standards.
