November 2009 – June 2011 and since November 2016, President of the Council of Ministers; Head of the Future Parliamentary Bloc in the Lebanese Parliament. Recipient of honours and awards, including: Légion d’Honneur of France (2007); Grand Cordon of the Lebanese Order of Merit (2014); Commandeur de la Légion d'Honneur of France (2017).
