Rebecca Saxe

Rebecca Saxe is a Cognitive Neuroscientist, focusing on cognitive functions that are or may be unique to human brains, including language and morality. Her research interests also focus on practical applications, especially regarding conflict resolution. Saxe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT. In 2009, she was named on Popular Science's “Brilliant 10” list of top young scientists in the US. Saxe has BA in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Cognitive Sciences from MIT.
