Senior Adviser, The Ground Up Project

Over 35 years of executive experience in international investment and business. Since 1996 continuously engaged in impact investment in developing economies: at Delta Capital in Russia; managing the Canada Investment Fund for Africa; establishing Injaro; chairing the Investment Committee of CARE Canada for 10 years; currently serving on the Investment Committee of Engineers without Borders, and advisor to the UN SDG Lab through the Ground Up Project’s Pipeline Builder. Teaching faculty at HEC Paris Exec Education: Leadership, Stakeholder Management, and Negotiation. Formerly Head of Partnership at the World Economic Forum and, earlier in his career, with major transportation, telecommunications, power, infrastructure and industrial businesses at Bombardier, GEC Plessey Telecommunications (GPT), and Hawker Siddeley Group, living in and managing multi-cultural teams in Russia and the CIS, Asia, Africa, Europe, and North America. He has a Master’s degree from Oxford, a graduate business degree from Coventry, and holds the Corporate Board Director certification from McGill. He received the Queen Elizabeth Diamond Jubilee medal for services to International development
