Mr. Orchlon is the Founder and CEO of URECA (www.ureca.com) – an international climatetech company with the mission to empower a global movement of climate action through technology and innovation.
Mr. Orchlon has been a passionate clean-tech investor with 10+ years experience in management across project finance, clean energy, and infrastructure.
Orchlon was included in Forbes Asia’s 30 under 30 in 2019 for his work in promoting renewable energy development across Asia.
Orchlon holds a BA in Economics from New York University and has previously worked as an Executive Board Member & Chief Investment Officer of Newcom Group, Principal Advisor for Rio Tinto and led the development of the first wind farm in the Gobi desert invested by Softbank with an installed capacity of 50MW as the CEO of Clean Energy Asia LLC .
Orchlon is an active advocate of promoting sustainable economic empowerment across developing countries and is also a Board Member of the Business Council of Mongolia in addition to serving as an Advisor to the Prime Minister of Mongolia on Climate Change and Energy Transition.
Mr. Orchlon speaks Mongolia, Russian, English and Albanian and has had an extensive international experience living in countries such as Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Albania, the UK and the USA. He currently lives in Mongolia with his two children and wife.
