Megan Chen is the founder of The Urban Garden Initiative (TUGI), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that aims to inspire and empower youth to achieve urban sustainability through a gardening-based educational program. Through her work with TUGI, she has been able to provide resources and opportunities for lower-income youth to become environmental change-makers within their communities. She is also a current graduate student at Stanford University with the Doerr School and a Living Lab Fellow and Mercedes-Benz Bevisioneers Fellow.
