Max Nurnus

Lecturer, Seoul National University

Max Nurnus is a lecturer at the Graduate School of International Studies of Seoul National University. He previously obtained his PhD and MA from the same department, and a BA in Social Sciences from the University of Augsburg in Germany. From 2015 to 2016 he was a Fulbright Visiting Researcher at The Ohio State University's Mershon Center for International Security Studies. His research focuses on international affairs on and around the Korean peninsula and the role of emotions in world politics.

He is editor-at-large at E-International Relations and co-founder of Korea and the World, a podcast on issues surrounding the two Korean states. In his free time he enjoys long-distance running and photography.
