Mattias Åström is a Swedish serial entrepreneur and a 2015 and 2024 World Economic Forum technology pioneer. He founded evroc in 2022 to build hyperscale cloud and AI infrastructure for the world with a strong focus on sovereignty and sustainability. Mattias is passionate about bridging the digital divide and wants to democratize access to critical cloud and AI technologies currently dominated by American players.

Mattias has previously built and taken five category-defining technology companies to successful exits including to Apple, Nokia and Schneider Electric. He holds degrees from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Stockholm School of Economics.
