Mathieu is managing the african activities of Meridiam and in particular Meridiam Infrastructure Africa Fund, a €546m pan-african fund investing in greenfield infrastructure projects.
He’s leading the development, investment and asset management activities and manages the team based in Dakar and Addis Ababa where he is based.
Mathieu joined Meridiam in 2011 where he started to work on several european transport infrastructure projects before starting to work in Africa in 2015 when he set up the Dakar offices.
Mathieu started his career within Project Finance teams of industrial sponsors with two subsequent experiences, at Vinci Concessions, working on major European transport deals and in the german renewables group JUWI, working on projects in France.
Mathieu graduated from the Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées and holds a Master in Project Finance (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech – Université Paris Ouest La Défense).
