Kentaro Ichiki is a Creative Director, Film Director, and Educator based in Tokyo, renowned for uniting Japanese aesthetics, AI, and contemporary storytelling.

He holds a Master of Fine Arts from Tokyo University of the Arts and has shaped the creative landscape for over 25 years, leading major international brands and governmental initiatives.

He has served as a distinguished juror for creative awards such as the Cannes Lions, Clio Awards, Spikes Asia, and the Asia Pacific Advertising Festival.

In 2020, he founded the UNIVERSITY of CREATIVITY (UoC), a global research platform exploring creative potential in the age of AI, where he continues to serve as Director.

In 2024, Kentaro directed the acclaimed campaign and opening film for NHK’s national TV drama Hikaru Kimi e, crafting a visually poetic expression of Japan’s timeless beauty.
