Karl Gray graduated from the University of Sheffield (UK) with an MA in Political Economy and holds Diplomas in Management and Insurance. He has over 20 years experience of developing motor and personal lines businesses across multiple geographies. Mr Gray is currently Global Head of Motor and Retail Lines for the Zurich Insurance Group. He is also responsible for co-leading Zurich's underwriting strategy on Autonomous Driving, Vehicle Connectivity and the Sharing Economy. Prior to his appointment, Mr Gray was the Chief Underwriting Officer for Zurich's Middle East and Africa region. He has held a number of leadership positions with major Insurance companies, with over a decade in emerging markets.
