A Civil Engineer graduate from the University of Bahrain, a safety officer and a youth activist. She currently works as a site engineer and a safety officer at Dadabhai Construction. After her graduation research, which was focused on environmental and sustainable solutions in Bahrain, her passion and interest in environmental issues and sustainable living began. She started participating individually and locally in beach cleanups and recycling. In a global level, she recently participated in the 32nd Ship for World Youth Program. She took part in the Global Environmental and Climate Change discourse. As a result, she adopted some foreign based projects and solutions in Bahrain to encourage the sustainable lifestyle. Outside of work, Jumana teaches Japanese courses as a part time job. She enjoys creative outlets such as art, music and all kinds of tea.
